That’s right, billboards were invented almost as soon as cars hit the road! After that advertising exploded with hot air balloons, electric signs, and of course, the radio. But road trip advertising changed forever after the wacky, inflatable tube man hit the car lot scene in the nineties! Before that, it was all signs and lights. Now, there was a brightly colored dancing giant, beckoning bored passengers to look at his wares. The evolution of advertising has been a wild road, but it’s all been worth it to witness the antics of this legendary advertising schtick!
