When a screaming amp head can’t be cranked at home or in the studio, or using a monster cabinet in a small stage is impractical, use the MESA/Boogie CabClone to connect your amp head to your recording interface, mixer, or powered speakers. It has an internal load to protect your amp from getting fried; but for setup versatility, the internal load can be bypassed automatically when you connect a speaker cabinet through the CabClone.
One of the CabClone’s assets is its selectable cabinet types; you can choose from an open-back, closed-back, or vintage-type cabinet to get the optimal tone for your amp. There is also headphone output so you can enjoy that cranked amp sound without disturbing your sleeping neighbors.
The CabClone comes in 4-ohm, 8-ohm, and 16-ohm models.
