Easy and Complicated

The fact that Gargamel has been pretty occupied with trying to catch the Smurfs as either snacks or to turn them into gold is proof that the evil wizard definitely earned his failing grade at Wizard School. Why is he not interested in the Long Life Stone that keeps them from aging? Why isn’t he curious about their unique form of magical abilities that keep their Smurf Village hidden from all non-Smurfs? Why isn’t he puzzled by their complex-yet-simple language!?

If you hadn’t noticed, “Smurf” is a surprisingly versatile word in the Smurfy society. We have a few similar ones in our own culture that would never have appeared on the cartoon, of course, but even we get a little confused about which definition that we might be working on. The Smurfs, on the other hand, always know if a Smurfy idea is definitely one to get excited about or if the next Smurfy idea is a dangerous one that should be avoided. It’s so confusing!

Design & Details

While Gargamel has no interest in deciphering the mystical language of the Smurfs, we are obsessed with it! Help us out by transforming into one of the Smurfs with one of our magical Made by Us costumes. This officially licensed look was crafted by our own design magicians in our in-house studios. It includes a long-sleeved blue shirt and white pants to get you into the seemingly shirtless garb of our forest-dwelling friends. The iconic hat completes your look, even if you don’t go for a pair of blue gloves, giant white shoe covers, or blue face paint.
