Keeping toddlers and rhinos in mind, the team aimed to create an easy-to-wear costume that captures the look of the strong savannah animal in vivid detail.

Soft faux suede with a printed hide texture and easy hook-and-loop fasteners craft a cozy, convincing, and convenient rhino costume. Foam-backed shoulders provide a sturdy rhino shape, while attached shoe covers and appliqued toenails on the cuffs imitate rhino feet, ensuring footwear doesn’t interrupt the cohesive look. Meanwhile, an attached tail with a faux fur tuft and the hood with soft-sculpted horns, ears, and realistic eyes, ensure the costume is recognizable.
