Everyone wants to be healthy these days. Gluten-free this and sugar-free that; give us a break! When we were kids, we shoved a handful of sugar in our mouths before walking 12 whole blocks to school. (Okay, that was a slight exaggeration.) Anyway, donuts are getting a bad rap lately and we don’t know why. Having a donut for breakfast is like eating a piece of birthday cake in the morning what’s so terrible about that? They come in the most delicious and exotic flavors now too. Forget basic, boring glazed and give us a maple bacon donut, a toasted s’more donut, and a Nutellaand peanut butter donut. Make it a dozena baker’s dozen, pretty please?
Don’t turn your back on donuts. Whenever you wake up on the wrong side of the bed, spoil yourself with one. It’s a frosted and sprinkled reminder to keep going, great things are coming your way.
