The Unexpected Tenant

Welcome to our new home! We think it has a lot of character. Sure, the floors creak at night as if under unseen footsteps and there are a lot of unexplainable cold spots in the attic, but those little details just add to its charms. We’ll give you a tour. In the butler’s pantry you’ll see a set of iron manacles – wonder why those were installed? – and there’s a strange red stain on the parlor wall. We’ve painted over it a few times, but it keeps seeping through. Oh well. If you walk to the end of the hall and turn left, you’ll – AHH! Oh, it’s just Victoria. She’s dead but she thinks that this is still her house. It’s all right, though. Her staring eyes and beckoning posture are a little unnerving, but we’re 85 percent sure she’s harmless!
