No, really, he did a cross-country run for three years to attempt to figure things out. Along the way he inspired lots of people, met new friends, and grew a glorious beard. Now, that’s what we call shaking it off!
This running Forrest Gump costume is officially licensed and is found exclusively here. Now you can take to the streets this Halloween and run just like Forrest, or maybe just walk (wed just walk). The yellow polo shirt has a V-placket with a green trim just like in the movie.
The trademark red running shorts have white trim and an elastic waist for a comfortable fit. Put the white crew-length socks with red and blue stripes on to really start feeling like a runner. The costume would not be complete without the long brown wig and beard that secure with an elastic band nor the red hat that displays the Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. logo.
Forrest Gump was many things over the course of his lifetime, but one thing that always stuck with him was running. Ever since he was a kid with leg braces, he found running as a way to escape not only physically but mentally. Whether it was the local bully chasing him down the road after school or a breakup with Jenny, Forrest always turned to running to help make things better. I cant say we enjoy running quite as much as Forrest, but his efforts were quite admirable.
