Summoning Season

It’s that time of year again. It’s the time when want-to-be witches play with spells and force you into their infernal mortal Halloween parties! At least you’ve come to learn to expect it by now.

Last year you were summoned up three different times. Once with an Ouiji board at a preteen party. You went easy on them and scared them straight by flickering the lights and breaking all the mirrors in the room. Then there was a group of candle holding divorcees in the nude in the middle of the woods. You had to admire their commitment and went ahead and did them a few favors. The most annoying summons was the Zoom meeting you were called to. Who tries spells during a virtual Halloween party? How dare those mortals be inconvenient and boring at the same time? That online punishment would have been severe but you got cut off due to the time limit.
