For many of us, our first introduction to the solar system came in science class. The unit seemingly always wrapped with an assignment to create a model of the solar system. Then we took to the craft supplies sticking foam balls or paper cutouts onto wire armatures or mobile strings to show our classmates a variety of ways to represent the planets and sun sitting among the stars.

But when it comes time for your kiddo to do the same, we’d like to suggest a new option. Something that’s sure to have them feeling as bright as the sun in every classmate’s presentation is our exclusive Kid’s Glorious Galaxy Jumpsuit Costume!

Design & Details

This Made By Us ensemble is exclusively designed and developed by our in-house team to comprise a comfortable jumpsuit, 9 removable planets, and a sun-shaped headpiece.

The jumpsuit sets the base of the costume with a super-soft minky construction that features a high collar and all-over print pattern that imitates a mottled black-and-blue, star-filled sky. A zipper down the back of the jumpsuit offers easy changing, and loose-fit cuffs and ankles ensure a relaxed and comfortable fit.

Nine planets printed to look like those in our actual solar system are crafted from stiff felt and equipped with hook-and-loop tape. The hook-and-loop tape makes fixing each planet to coordinating strips on the costume quick and easy.

However, it’s the foam-backed headpiece that ensures this clever design shines! Shaped like the sun and trimmed with contrasting orange triangles to emulate rays from the glowing star, this slide-on piece perfectly completes the ensemble.
