Let’s be very, very clear. It’s better to have a young drum major in your house than a young drummer. Seriously. Have you ever heard a kid play the drums? We’re pretty sure drum kits should have an age limit. You can’t play the drums until you’re 18 (and preferably out of the house). Trust us on this, if your child asks you for a drum set do notwe repeat DO NOTgive in. Get them a lovely flute. Or perhaps a saxophone. No one ever lost their hearing over an oboe, that we know of.
