Old Before His Time

You noticed the change in Junior a couple of months back. It happened slowly, almost imperceptibly. The first time you realized something was different was when you walked into the living room and your kid had switched from his cartoon to a forty minute special on identity fraud. The next day, on the way back from the park, he asked why the playground didn’t have a shuffleboard court.

In the next weeks, things got crazy. No longer did your child beg for a soda or candy bar at the checkout counter. He wanted a bag of Werther’s Originals. You were repeatedly asked to turn down that blasted noise when listening to Beyonce in the car. But you decided that things really had to change when you caught your child shaking a stick like a cane and telling his good friends to, “Get off my lawn”.

Details & Design

Any old soul is sure to love this old man ensemble. Our in-house designers channeled their grandpas when creating this costumed homage to the elderly. It includes an argyle sweater with an attached shirt and a bowtie. It also has a padded belly to give your toddler an older silhouette. It’s topped off with a classic newsboy cap and a pair of glasses with attached mustaches and fuzzy eyebrows. Grey-Haired Area

You can’t deny your child’s elderly leanings. That’s why, when your kiddo started acting a little old, you and your child made a deal. You’d buy him an old man ensemble and let him vent his geriatric energy a couple of hours a week if he acted his age the rest of the time. It worked like a charm! Although, every once in a while, you still find stashes of butterscotch candy around the house.
