Deer With It

Deers are made differently. They are graceful creatures who are also built like brick houses. Not to get too dark, but if you have even been driving at dawn or dusk and had to swerve out of the way of one of these creatures, you know they are nothing to play with. The crazy part is they are more afraid of us than we are of them (though that goes for many of nature’s miracles). Before we get into the nitty gritty of this costume kit, peep these random facts about the lovely deer.

If you thought the human eye was unique, wait until you hear about a deer. The eyes use 2 functions that help us see depending on the light level in the vicinity. If you are around low light, you tend to use what are called rods, while with bright lights, you use cones to assist with your vision. Deer have many more rods in their eyes than cones, so their eyes are made for seeing clearly in the early morning or late at night. Not great when being flashed with high beams.
